What Rowbuy is and how it works

Rowbuy, at rowbuy.com, buys from Taobao, 1688 and Weidian for people outside China and sends the goods on to them. Its help centre describes five steps: you find a listing or upload a picture, Rowbuy buys it from the seller, photographs it free at its warehouse, combines it with your other pieces and ships the parcel on a line you choose. Billing is in US dollars, and you will not need a bank account, street address or mobile number in China.

The site appeared recently. Its help articles were created between late June and early July 2026, and the oldest page on its sitemap dates from May 2026. Its English pages are complete; Spanish and French are listed as published languages.

Who runs Rowbuy: two names on one site

Help article 7787 says Rowbuy is operated by FLAGAHOLICS LLC, a US-registered company, and the contact page gives an address in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, with [email protected]. Every page footer, meanwhile, ends with a 2024 copyright notice in the name of Shenzhen Tongxiao Network Technology Co., Ltd., and a Guangdong ICP record sits beside it. Rowbuy says nothing about how the two are connected.

We report both and draw no conclusion beyond this: when you need to escalate a problem, put it in writing to the support address on the contact page and keep the reply.

Why choose Rowbuy: one warehouse review for a multi-seller order?

A full-service buying agent is useful when the seller accepts domestic orders but you need someone to purchase, receive and forward the goods. Rowbuy's help describes that chain in five stages. It gives a buyer a place to check what arrived before paying the separate international freight bill. It does not manufacture the item, set its sizing or establish authenticity.

What the Rowbuy documents actually add

The reviewed help supports three practical features: US-dollar billing, product-link or image search, and free warehouse QC photos followed by consolidation. The October 22 estimator produced priced US and Canadian routes, so their weight steps can be used as dated planning examples. Its stated 90 free storage days let separately ordered goods meet at the warehouse, subject to the applicable storage limit. These are reasons to investigate fit, not proof of faster fulfilment than a rival.

Example: jeans and a hoodie going to Toronto

1. Save both seller URLs, the waist and inseam for the jeans, and the hoodie's flat chest measurement. Confirm the selected options rather than the lowest listing prices.
2. Record the first payment and any quoted service charge. Leave international freight outside that subtotal.
3. When the items are stored, compare each QC set with its own order. Ask about an unclear measurement before approving the parcel.
4. Compare a combined carton with separate shipping using the same destination and actual dimensions. A shared first-weight charge can help, but a bulky box or an ineligible item can reverse the saving.

The decision is whether that extra inspection and coordination is worth the service and shipping total. The calculator helps compare a dated scenario; only the current checkout confirms the bill.

When to choose something else

If you can already pay the marketplace and only need a Chinese receiving address, a forwarding-only service may fit. If a retailer offers satisfactory direct delivery and returns, the extra warehouse stage may add little. Compare another agent if Rowbuy cannot quote your destination or item, or if you require a disclosed service-fee rate before purchase. Our test outside North America did not return priced lines; it does not prove Rowbuy can never serve those countries.

Trust checks that work on Rowbuy or any agent

A trustworthy agent tells you who it is, what it charges, how long it keeps your goods, where it ships and what happens when something breaks, and keeps those answers in public. Rowbuy answers some of these well (storage terms, freight rules, the claim route) and leaves others open (service fee rate, warehouse city, the relationship between its two company names).

Practical safeguards work with any agent. Start with a small first order. Pay by card, which gives you a dispute route with your bank. Keep screenshots of the checkout breakdown and the QC photos. Ship within the free storage days. And raise problems at the photo stage, not after the parcel has crossed.

Agents besides Rowbuy, by type

Agents come in a few broad types. Large established agents run their own warehouses, publish fee tables and ship to dozens of countries. Storefront agents, Rowbuy among them, run on rented shopping-agent software with their own name, colours and terms on top; the pages can look alike across brands, while fees, lines and support differ. Pure forwarders do not buy for you at all: you order from the seller yourself and send it to their address. A few marketplaces also offer consolidation for foreign buyers who can pay inside them.

If you are outside North America, or want published service fees, compare one or two other agents' estimators with your real parcel before choosing. The same listing can be bought through any of them.
