Rowbuy ledger tools: a freight calculator and a storage clock
How to use the tools on this site to see both Rowbuy payments before you make the first one.
Ledger calculator: both payments for one parcel
Put in what the listing and the seller tell you, plus a guess at the parcel. The calculator returns both payments line by line, in yuan and in dollars, and states which weight the line will bill. The rules it follows are the ones Rowbuy's estimator returned on 22 October 2026: CNY 135 for the first 500 g to the US plus CNY 39 or 40 per further 500 g with a 6000 size divisor, and CNY 30 plus CNY 7.10 per 100 g to Canada with an 8000 divisor.
Feeding the ledger calculator, and what it cannot see
This is how to use the calculator well. Start with the prices on the listing and the seller's delivery fee from the Rowbuy cart. For the parcel, weigh a similar garment at home or use the weight on the listing, then add a few hundred grams for packing. Box sides are optional; leave them at zero and the calculator bills the scale weight only.
It cannot know three things: the service fee, the coupons in your account, and the final weight the carrier measures. Rowbuy confirms the fee against that measured weight, so treat our answer as a planning figure. If Rowbuy's own estimator gives a different number on the day, the estimator is right and we are out of date; write in and we will correct the rules.
Three ledgers we ran through the calculator
To check the calculator against Rowbuy's own answers, we ran three parcels through it on 24 October 2026. Each one shows a different side of the pricing.
- Four T-shirts to Ohio. Four tops at CNY 45 each with CNY 6 delivery from one shop: payment one is CNY 186. Packed flat they weigh about 900 g in a small soft mailer, so the scale wins. The cheaper US line bills 1 kg: CNY 174. Known total CNY 360, about $53.14.
- Boxed trainers to Vancouver. One pair at CNY 260 plus CNY 10 delivery, in its box: 1.6 kg on the scale, carton 36 by 25 by 14 cm. Size weight on the Canada line is 1.58 kg, so the scale still wins by a hair. Freight is CNY 30 plus 16 steps of CNY 7.10, or CNY 143.60. Known total CNY 413.60, about $61.05.
- A winter haul to New Jersey. Two padded jackets, a hoodie and jeans, 3.4 kg in a 55 by 45 by 30 cm carton. Size weight on a US line is 12.38 kg, almost four times the scale. The bill jumps to 12.5 kg, CNY 135 plus 24 steps: CNY 1,071. The same goods in a carton half that size would cost far less, which is why the box is worth a question to support before packing.
Storage clock for the ninety free days
Enter the date an order first showed Stored. The clock returns day 90, the last free day, and day 120, the limit stated on the rowbuy.com home page, and tells you where today falls. Rowbuy publishes no fee for days 91 to 120, so the clock does not guess one.
Product search across the shelves
The third tool is the search box on every shelf page, which looks across all sixteen categories of listings at once. It is not a picture search; for that, Rowbuy's own bar on rowbuy.com accepts a screenshot.
